Possible DUI Suspected in Denver Crash on N Kalamath St

DENVER, CO 8/16/2025. On August 16, 2025, at 12:08 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Denver involving a collision at N Kalamath St and W Colfax Ave. A passenger car, traveling north and reportedly engaged in careless driving, crossed the center median into opposing lanes and struck a wall or building in a non-intersection area about 500 feet northwest of this major crossroad. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities occurred in this incident, though the involvement of Driving under the Influence is suspected. This is amidst a backdrop of 595 traffic incidents reported in the Lincoln Park area over the past year.
