Possible DUI Suspected in Denver Traffic Incident

DENVER, CO 3/29/2025. A traffic incident was reported on March 29, 2025, at 9:12 PM involving two passenger vehicles on S Lowell Blvd in the Fort Logan neighborhood of Denver. The event occurred about half a mile north of the intersection with W Lehigh Ave, at an address 4603 S Lowell Blvd. Preliminary reports suggest the first vehicle, potentially driven under the influence, was backing up westward when it collided front-to-rear with a parked car. The road was wet and dark but well-lit, which may have contributed to the careless driving alleged as a factor. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities resulted from the incident, although it adds to the 58 reported collisions in the area since April 2024. Authorities are investigating the role of impairment in the crash.
