Possible DUI Suspected in Traffic Incident Near N Sheridan Blvd and W Colfax Ave

DENVER, CO 2/20/2025. A traffic incident was reported on February 20, 2025, at 12:52 PM involving two passenger vehicles traveling northbound near the intersection of N Sheridan Blvd and W Colfax Ave in Denver. The accident, occurring approximately 0.1 miles south of the major cross streets, involved a front-to-rear collision on a non-intersection roadway that was wet with visible icy road treatment under dark, lighted conditions. While no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, the crash is under investigation for possible involvement of driving under the influence. Both drivers were reportedly going straight, with one cited for careless driving.
