Potential DUI Incident Reported Near W Mississippi Ave & S Zuni St

DENVER, CO 9/14/2025. On September 14, 2025, at 1:27 PM MT, a traffic incident occurred at the intersection of W Mississippi Ave and S Zuni St in Denver’s Ruby Hill neighborhood. The collision involved a pickup truck or utility van and a passenger car traveling east on W Mississippi Ave. Initial reports suggest the pickup truck, driven by an inexperienced driver who followed too closely, struck the car from the rear. Though no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, authorities are considering the possibility of driving under the influence as a contributing factor. This incident adds to the 188 traffic incidents reported in Ruby Hill over the past year.
