DENVER, CO 6/26/2025. On June 26, 2025, at 9:02 PM MT, a possible Driving under the Influence incident occurred involving an SUV on the eastbound I-70 Highway near North Colorado Boulevard in Denver’s Elyria Swansea neighborhood. The vehicle reportedly hit a concrete highway barrier approximately 0.5 miles west of the Colorado Boulevard exit. The incident took place on a poorly lit, non-intersection segment of the road. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported, and the SUV was said to be traveling straight while engaged in careless driving. This incident contributes to the 358 traffic-related incidents reported in the Elyria Swansea area over the past year.
