Potential DUI Incident Reported on S Franklin St in University Neighborhood

DENVER, CO 8/2/2025. On August 2, 2025, at 6:52 PM, a potential driving under the influence (DUI) incident occurred on the 2300 block of S Franklin St in Denver. This location is about half a mile south of the major intersection at Evans Avenue and University Boulevard. The crash involved a northbound passenger vehicle colliding in a ‘Front to Side’ and ‘Front to Front’ manner with a parked vehicle on a dark but lighted non-intersection roadway. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported in the University neighborhood, which has seen 160 other incidents since last year.
