Reckless Driving Incident in Denver’s Country Club Leaves One Seriously Injured

DENVER, CO 9/17/2025. On September 17, 2025, at 10:22 PM, a traffic incident was reported in the Country Club neighborhood of Denver at E 1st Ave and N Humboldt St, approximately 0.1 miles southeast from the intersection. A passenger car, reportedly evading law enforcement while driving recklessly, traveled east and struck an embankment and another fixed object located at the center median/island. Despite the dark-lighted conditions of the non-intersection location, one individual sustained serious injuries. This marks the 76th reported incident in the area since last year.
