Serious Injury in Two-Vehicle Collision in Chaffee Park

DENVER, CO 4/12/2025. A serious traffic incident resulting in injuries was reported on April 12, 2025, at 8:07 PM in the Chaffee Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred approximately 0.3 miles west of the major intersection at W 52nd Ave and Eliot Federal Aly. The incident involved a southbound passenger car and a northbound pickup truck, both traveling straight. The passenger car was reportedly being driven carelessly, leading to a front-to-front collision on a non-intersection part of the roadway. One person sustained serious injuries, though no fatalities were reported. The incident took place under dark but lighted conditions.
