DENVER, CO 6/19/2025. A traffic incident resulting in a serious injury was reported at 4:27 PM on June 19, 2025, in the Virginia Village neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the 4200 block of E Louisiana Ave, approximately 0.3 miles west of the intersection with S Colorado Blvd. A low-speed vehicle traveling west collided front to side with a passenger car making a U-turn in a dark but lighted, non-intersection area. There were no fatalities, but one individual in the low-speed vehicle was seriously injured. The primary contributing factors were improper turn by the passenger car and following too closely by the low-speed vehicle.
