Serious Injury in Wrong-Way Collision on S Federal Blvd

DENVER, CO. 5/5/2025 On May 5, 2025, at 5:14 PM, a serious traffic accident was reported on the 600 block of S Federal Blvd in Denver’s Athmar Park neighborhood. The collision occurred approximately 0.3 miles north of the intersection with W Exposition Ave. Involving a passenger car and an SUV, the incident took place on a non-intersection road that was dark but illuminated. The passenger car, traveling south in the wrong direction, collided front-to-front with the northbound SUV. The careless driving by the passenger car led to one serious injury, though there were no fatalities reported. This adds to the 177 incidents in the neighborhood over the past year.
