DENVER, CO 1/19/2025. On January 19, 2025, at 9:36 AM, a serious traffic incident was reported in the Gateway – Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver. The collision occurred at the intersection of N Tower Rd and E 49th Ave, located approximately 0.2 miles southeast of these major cross streets. According to the Denver Police Department, the incident involved two passenger vehicles, resulting in one serious injury. The crash, described as front-to-front with one vehicle running off the right side, happened under icy road conditions that had visible treatments. The driver making a left turn eastbound was cited for aggressive and careless driving, while the northbound vehicle proceeding straight had no apparent contributing factors. No fatalities were reported. This incident adds to the 513 traffic-related reports in the neighborhood within the past year.
