Suspected DUI: Pickup Truck Crashes Into Utility Pole in Mar Lee

DENVER, CO 2/16/2025. On February 16, 2025, at 12:37 PM, a traffic incident was reported in the Mar Lee neighborhood of Denver, involving a pickup truck that ran off the right side of the road and crashed into a utility pole at 1890 S Paseo Way. The accident occurred approximately 0.5 miles west of the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Jewell Avenue. The wet road conditions may have contributed to the vehicle going out of control, with speed deemed too fast for the conditions as a factor. There are no serious injuries or fatalities reported. Authorities suspect the driver may have been under the influence during the incident. This marks the 203rd incident in the neighborhood since February 17, 2024.
