DENVER, CO 4/26/2025. A traffic incident was reported at 6:56 AM on April 26, 2025, on I-25 Southbound, approximately half a mile south of W 48th Avenue, in Denver’s Globeville neighborhood. The collision occurred on the roadway and involved a pickup truck/utility van and a passenger car, both traveling south. The driver of the utility van was cited for careless driving due to distraction, which led to a front-to-rear crash sequence. One person in the passenger car sustained serious injuries, though no fatalities were reported. This incident adds to a growing number of traffic-related occurrences in the area, with 419 reported in the past year.
