Traffic Collision on I-70 Results in Serious Injury, No Fatalities

DENVER, CO 4/12/2025. A traffic incident was reported at 1:13 AM on April 12, 2025, involving a front-to-rear collision on the eastbound lanes of I-70 Highway, approximately one mile east of the major cross streets of I-70 and North Havana Street in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver. The crash, classified as occurring ‘On Roadway’ and in a ‘Non-Intersection’ area, involved two passenger vehicles. One of the vehicles, reported to have been driven carelessly, collided from behind with another passenger vehicle that was stopped in traffic. One person sustained serious injuries in the collision, though no fatalities were reported. This incident adds to a total of 1,065 reported traffic incidents in the Central Park neighborhood since April 12, 2024.
