Traffic Incident Involving Bicycle Reported at Champa St and N Broadway St

DENVER, CO 8/5/2025. On August 5, 2025, at approximately 11:20 AM Mountain Time, a traffic incident involving a bicycle and a passenger car occurred at the intersection of Champa Street and North Broadway Street in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. The passenger car was reportedly making a right turn while heading south and was cited for careless driving, although no serious injuries or fatalities were recorded. This incident marks the 654th traffic-related event in the Five Points neighborhood since this time last year. The incident took place directly on the roadway and was classified as intersection-related.
