Two Injured in Collision at Southmoor Park Intersection

DENVER, CO 9/27/2025. On September 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM MT, a traffic incident resulting in serious injuries occurred in the Southmoor Park neighborhood of Denver. The collision took place at the intersection of E Union Ave and S Niagara St, approximately near S Monaco Pkwy and E Hampden Ave, involving two passenger vehicles. The crash transpired as one vehicle, traveling north, attempted a left turn and was struck from the side by another vehicle traveling east. The driver of the left-turning vehicle was deemed to have driven carelessly by failing to see the oncoming car. As a result, two individuals sustained serious injuries. No fatalities were reported. This marks one of 119 reported incidents in the Southmoor Park area over the past year.
