DENVER, CO 2/20/2025. On February 20, 2025, at 9:46 AM MT, a traffic incident resulting in two serious injuries was reported at the intersection of N Quebec St and E Smith Rd in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood. The accident occurred when two SUVs, one traveling south and the other west, collided front-to-side at the intersection, causing one vehicle to strike a utility pole. The dark, but well-lit conditions might have contributed to the incident, with one driver reportedly distracted and driving carelessly. Despite the severe impact, there were no fatalities recorded. This incident adds to the 1,036 traffic reports in Central Park since this time last year.
