Two Seriously Injured in Traffic Collision at 39th and Peoria

DENVER, CO 8/15/2025. On August 15, 2025, at approximately 9:51 AM, a traffic incident involving two passenger vehicles occurred at the intersection of East 39th Avenue and North Peoria Street in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood. The crash, which happened roughly 0.2 miles south of the intersection, resulted in serious injuries to two individuals. The collision transpired when a southbound vehicle failed to stop at the signal and collided with an eastbound vehicle going straight through the intersection. While the drivers and passengers suffered serious injuries, no fatalities were reported. The location has been one of many incidents in Central Park, with over 1,134 traffic-related events reported in the past year.
