On August 14, 2024, at 10:17 AM MT, a minor traffic incident was reported on northbound I-25 near 6th Avenue in Denver. The collision involved a vehicle traveling north and a second vehicle that was stopped in traffic. The first vehicle, driven by an inexperienced driver, was cited for following too closely, resulting in a front-to-rear collision. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The incident occurred on the roadway in a non-intersection area.
