DENVER, CO 5/8/2025. On May 8, 2025, at 11:12 AM, a traffic incident involving a possible DUI was reported at 1150 N Syracuse St. in Denver’s East Colfax neighborhood. The location is a parking lot situated approximately 0.5 miles northeast of the major cross streets, Colfax Avenue and Quebec Street. The incident involved an SUV traveling northwest on private property and colliding with a fixed object. According to reports, the driver was engaged in careless driving and may have been under the influence, though no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This is the 224th reported traffic incident in East Colfax since May 8, 2024.
