Vehicle Collision and Rollover Reported in Montbello; Possible DUI Involvement

DENVER, CO 5/2/2025. A traffic incident was reported at 5:17 PM on May 2, 2025, at the intersection of E 51st Ave and N Crown Blvd in the Montbello neighborhood of Denver, potentially involving driving under the influence. The collision occurred on the roadway in dark-lighted conditions, 0.5 miles south of the intersection with Peoria Street. A passenger car traveling west disregarded a stop sign, leading to a front-to-side impact with another northbound vehicle. The collision caused the first vehicle to overturn and roll over. No serious injuries or fatalities have been reported. Authorities are investigating the possible involvement of drugs or alcohol.
