Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Capitol Hill Collision

DENVER, CO 5/1/2025. On May 1, 2025, at 1:10 PM, a serious motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of East 13th Avenue and North Emerson Street in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. The crash involved a southbound passenger car and a westbound motorcycle, both proceeding straight through the intersection. The collision, characterized as a ‘front to side’ impact, resulted in serious injuries to the motorcyclist. No fatalities were reported. The incident took place around 500 feet west of the major cross streets. Authorities attributed careless driving by the car’s driver, who reportedly failed to see the motorcycle, while no fault was found with the motorcyclist. This accident adds to the 416 incidents reported in Capitol Hill over the past year.
