Two Seriously Injured in Collision on E Elk Pl in Montbello

DENVER, CO 3/7/2025. A traffic incident resulting in two serious injuries was reported at 6:06 PM on March 7, 2025, in the 12900 block of E Elk Pl, Montbello, Denver. The collision occurred approximately 0.5 miles east of the intersection of Peoria Street and Gateway Avenue. The accident involved a pickup truck traveling east that collided with a parked pickup truck on a non-intersection roadway. The area was dark but well-lit at the time. Despite the serious injuries, the incident did not result in any fatalities. The Montbello neighborhood has seen 459 incidents since March 2024.
