DENVER, CO 11/21/2024. A traffic incident was reported on November 21, 2024, at 7:50 PM involving a passenger car on I-225 Southbound, approximately 2 miles southeast of the I-70 Westbound interchange in Denver’s Central Park neighborhood. The vehicle, while traveling north and going straight, collided with a concrete highway barrier. The incident occurred in a non-intersection area of the roadway, which was dark but lit at the time. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. The driver’s careless driving behavior is noted as a factor, and there is a possibility of Driving under the Influence being involved in this incident. This marks the 1,098th traffic incident in Central Park over the last year.
