Possible DUI Incident on West Colfax Avenue Leaves No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 8/9/2025. A traffic incident that may involve driving under the influence was reported on August 9, 2025, at 8:21 PM on the 200 block of West Colfax Avenue, about 0.2 miles west of the intersection with Broadway, in Denver’s Civic Center neighborhood. The incident, which occurred under dark but well-lit conditions, involved a passenger vehicle traveling east that drove carelessly and collided with another vehicle stopped in traffic. Despite the front-to-rear collision, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks yet another incident in a neighborhood that has seen 255 such reports over the past year.
