Bicycle and SUV Collision at E Asbury Ave and S University Blvd with No Serious Injuries

DENVER, CO 9/17/2025. In the early hours of September 17, 2025, at 1:12 AM, a traffic incident involving a bicycle and an SUV was reported at the intersection of E Asbury Ave and S University Blvd in the University neighborhood of Denver. The SUV was traveling north and making a left turn when it collided with the bicycle. According to the report, the SUV failed to yield the right of way, with sun glare identified as a contributing factor. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities resulting from the incident. This marks the 162nd traffic-related incident in the University neighborhood since September 17, 2024.
