Bicycle and Vehicle Incident Reported on E 12th Ave, Denver

DENVER, CO 12/9/2025. A traffic incident involving a bicycle and a passenger car was reported on December 9, 2025, at 10:39 AM on the 1000 block of E 12th Ave in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred in a non-intersection area under dark but lighted conditions, with the vehicle traveling west and leaving or entering a parked position. The driver of the vehicle failed to yield the right of way and did not see the cyclist, leading to the encounter. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. Since December 2024, there have been 447 incidents in the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
