Careless Driving Causes Serious Injury in Barnum Intersection Crash

DENVER, CO 10/20/2025. A traffic incident resulting in serious injury was reported on October 20, 2025, at 1:39 PM MT, involving a collision at the intersection of W Ellsworth Ave and S Irving St in the Barnum neighborhood of Denver. A northbound pickup truck was involved in a ‘front to side’ collision with a westbound passenger car. The crash, attributed to careless driving by the pickup truck driver, resulted in one serious injury but no fatalities. This marks the 153rd traffic incident in the Barnum neighborhood since this time last year.
