Careless Driving Causes Serious Injury on I-70 Near E 46th Ave

On October 29, 2024, at 2:08 PM, a serious traffic incident involving two passenger vehicles occurred on the westbound I-70 Highway near E 46th Ave in the Elyria Swansea neighborhood of Denver. The collision, located approximately half a mile east of the I-70 and E 46th Ave intersection, resulted from a rear-end crash when a westbound vehicle driven carelessly due to driver inexperience collided with a vehicle stopped in traffic. One individual sustained serious injuries in the incident, though no fatalities were reported.
