Careless Driving Leads to Injury in Green Valley Ranch Collision

DENVER, CO 9/20/2025. On September 20, 2025, at 6:11 PM MT, a traffic incident was reported involving a passenger car and a pickup truck at the intersection near the 18600 block of East GVR Boulevard in the Gateway – Green Valley Ranch neighborhood of Denver. The collision, occurring approximately a mile east of Tower Road and north of Green Valley Ranch Boulevard, resulted in one serious injury. The incident took place under dark, lighted conditions. According to reports, the passenger car, driven westward, was involved in a front-to-front collision with a northbound pickup truck making a left turn. The driver of the passenger car was noted for careless driving, attributed to age and driver ability, while the pickup truck driver had no apparent contributing factors. This incident adds to the 610 reported cases in the neighborhood over the past year.
