Cyclist Injured in Traffic Incident at 16th and Blake Streets

DENVER, CO 6/6/2025. On June 6, 2025, at 5:53 PM MT, a traffic incident involving a cyclist and a passenger vehicle was reported near the intersection of 16th Street and Blake Street in Denver’s Union Station neighborhood. The incident occurred approximately 0.1 miles southeast of the cross streets Blake St/16th St. Despite the dark-lighted conditions of the roadway, initial reports indicate no serious injuries or fatalities. The cyclist reportedly failed to obey traffic signs or signals, leading to a collision with a passenger car that was traveling south. This marks the 293rd traffic incident in the Union Station area since June 6, 2024.
