DENVER, CO 11/11/2024. In the early hours of November 11, 2024, at approximately 2:26 AM, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of W 39th Ave and N Inca St in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver. The accident, occurring 0.1 miles northeast of the major cross streets W 38th Ave and N Inca St, involved a passenger car that crashed into a fence on the roadway. While no serious injuries or fatalities were reported, the incident, which took place in dark but lighted conditions, has raised concerns over possible driving under the influence. Police noted the driver’s action as careless driving, adding to the 186 incidents reported in the area over the past year.
