DENVER, CO 8/18/2025. On August 18, 2025, at 2:34 AM, a collision occurred between a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of W Alameda Ave and S Sheridan Blvd in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The accident happened approximately 1 mile east of the major intersection, with the SUV traveling southbound and making a left turn, while the motorcycle was heading north. The driver of the SUV reportedly failed to yield the right of way, and the motorcyclist failed to stop at the signal. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This incident adds to the 308 reported incidents in Westwood since August 20, 2024.
