Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Denver Crash Involving SUV

DENVER, CO 5/11/2025. On the morning of May 11, 2025, at 8:13 AM, a motorcycle accident occurred at the intersection of N Central Park Blvd and E 53rd Ave in Denver, approximately a quarter-mile southeast of this busy juncture. The incident involved an SUV that was making a right turn and a motorcycle going straight, resulting in a ‘Front to Side’ collision. The motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries, but no fatalities were reported. The SUV driver was cited for careless driving after reportedly failing to notice the oncoming motorcycle. The crash adds to the over 1063 traffic incidents reported in the Central Park neighborhood since last year.
