Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Early Morning Crash on I-70 in Denver

DENVER, CO 12/23/2025. On December 23, 2025, at 5:43 AM, a traffic incident involving a motorcycle and a pickup truck resulted in a serious injury on westbound I-70 at North Peoria Street in Denver. The crash took place on the roadway approximately 0.2 miles west from the Central Park area, a region known for 1,164 traffic incidents in the past year. The motorcycle, traveling west and reportedly weaving, collided front to rear with a pickup truck that was stopped in traffic. The motorcyclist was seriously injured, but no fatalities were reported. Investigators cited age and driver ability as contributing factors for the motorcyclist’s careless driving, while the driver of the pickup truck was not found at fault.
