One Seriously Injured in Car Collision at Speer Intersection

DENVER, CO 5/2/2025. On May 2, 2025, at 7:24 PM, a traffic collision involving two passenger vehicles occurred at the intersection of East Speer Boulevard and North Corona Street in the Speer neighborhood of Denver. One individual sustained serious injuries in the crash. The incident happened approximately 0.2 miles southeast of the intersection of Colfax Avenue and Speer Boulevard. According to reports, the collision involved a southbound vehicle moving straight and driven carelessly by a driver unfamiliar with the area, and a westbound vehicle also moving straight. The crash took place under dark but lighted conditions at a well-trafficked intersection. No fatalities were reported, marking the incident as the 316th within the Speer neighborhood since May 2, 2024.
