Pedestrian Accident Reported at E Colfax Ave and N Colorado Blvd

DENVER, CO 12/19/2024. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on December 19, 2024, at 2:52 PM at the intersection of E Colfax Ave and N Colorado Blvd in the Congress Park neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway and was intersection-related, with lighting conditions described as dark but lighted. A passenger car or passenger van traveling south made a right turn and failed to yield the right of way, with the driver reportedly looking but not seeing the pedestrian. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks one of multiple incidents in the Congress Park neighborhood, which has seen 259 reported traffic incidents since December 20, 2023.
