Pedestrian Hit by Car at South Colorado Blvd and East Iowa Ave

DENVER, CO 12/16/2025. On December 16, 2025, at approximately 12:03 AM Mountain Time, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of South Colorado Boulevard and East Iowa Avenue in the Cory – Merrill neighborhood of Denver. The accident took place on the roadway under dark but lighted conditions. A passenger car traveling north, driven carelessly with a reported human contributing factor of ‘Looked/Did Not See,’ made a right turn and struck a pedestrian who was crossing at the intersection. Thankfully, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. In the past year, the Cory – Merrill neighborhood has recorded 106 other reported traffic incidents.
