Pedestrian Incident Reported at Overland Intersection

DENVER, CO 1/2/2026. On January 2, 2026, at 8:56 AM, an incident involving a pedestrian was reported at the intersection of South Acoma Street and West Iowa Avenue in the Overland neighborhood, Denver. The incident occurred on the roadway under dawn or dusk light conditions. A pedestrian was crossing at the intersection when an SUV traveling west and going straight at the intersection was involved. No serious injuries or fatalities were reported. There have been 240 reported incidents in the Overland neighborhood since January 2, 2025.
