Pedestrian Injured in Early Morning Collision at Denver Intersection

DENVER, CO 10/16/2024. On October 16, 2024, at 6:22 AM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported at a crosswalk in Denver. The incident occurred approximately 200 feet north of the major intersection of Main Street and Central Avenue. A passenger car traveling east made a left turn at the intersection and struck a pedestrian who was crossing legally. Sun glare reportedly contributed to the driver’s failure to yield the right of way. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported.
