Pedestrian Involved in Traffic Incident at Barnum Intersection

DENVER, CO 12/16/2025. On December 16, 2025, at 10:45 AM, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred at the intersection of South Knox Court and West Cedar Avenue in the Barnum neighborhood of Denver. The passenger car, traveling north, was making a right turn when the incident happened. The driving action was determined to be careless, as the driver looked but did not see the pedestrian on the roadway. Despite the alarming situation, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This incident marks the 152nd traffic-related event in the Barnum area since the same date last year. The intersection is approximately 0.4 miles southwest of the nearest major cross streets.
