Pedestrian Struck at Westwood Intersection by Pickup Truck

DENVER, CO 12/18/2024. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver at the intersection of W Mississippi Ave and S Irving St, approximately reported at 1:23 AM on December 18, 2024. The incident involved a pickup truck making a left turn westbound, during which the driver failed to yield the right of way, resulting in the pedestrian being struck. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This incident adds to a total of 316 other reported traffic incidents in the Westwood neighborhood since December 20, 2023.
