Pedestrian Struck by Car at Intersection in Civic Center; No Serious Injuries Reported

DENVER, CO 9/22/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on September 22, 2025, at 4:30 AM in the Civic Center neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred at the intersection of W 8th Ave and N Speer Blvd. A passenger car traveling west made a left turn and struck a pedestrian, who was on the roadway. The driver failed to yield the right of way, but no apparent contributing factors were found. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities have been reported. This intersection is approximately 0.2 miles southeast from the nearest major cross streets.
