Pedestrian Struck by Car on E Louisiana Ave, No Serious Injuries Reported

DENVER, CO 3/24/2025. On March 24, 2025, at 1:16 AM, a traffic incident was reported at the intersection of E Louisiana Ave and S Emerson St in the Washington Park West neighborhood of Denver. A pedestrian involved in maintenance activities was struck by a passenger car traveling east. The incident occurred on the roadway, approximately 0.1 miles east of the major cross streets, and it took place in a non-intersection area. According to reports, the driver of the vehicle may have been careless, having looked but not seen the pedestrian. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities have been reported. The Washington Park West neighborhood has recorded 242 traffic incidents in the past year.
