Pedestrian Struck by SUV in Five Points, No Serious Injuries Reported

DENVER, CO 8/27/2025. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on August 27, 2025, at 1:56 PM in the Five Points neighborhood of Denver. The incident occurred on 35th Street and North Brighton Boulevard, approximately half a mile southeast of the larger intersection of Brighton Boulevard and 38th Street. An SUV, traveling south, was making a left turn and reportedly failed to see the pedestrian on the roadway. Although the accident occurred at dawn or dusk under wet road conditions, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. The driver was cited for careless driving, contributing to the incident that adds to the 664 traffic incidents in the area over the past year.
