Pedestrian Struck in Parking Lot Near Tower Rd in Denver

DENVER, CO 12/20/2024. A traffic incident involving a pedestrian was reported on December 20, 2024, at 8:25 PM in the DIA neighborhood of Denver. The accident occurred in a parking lot at 6290 N Tower Rd, situated on private property, approximately 0.5 miles north of the intersection with 56th Ave. According to reports, a passenger car was entering or leaving a parked position when it struck a pedestrian, resulting in injuries but no serious injuries or fatalities. The scene was lit, though the accident took place during dark-lighted conditions. The driver has been cited for careless driving, and this incident adds to the 393 reported in the DIA area since December 21, 2023.
