Pedestrian Struck in Westwood, No Serious Injuries Reported

DENVER, CO 1/16/2025. On January 16, 2025, at 11:04 AM MT, a traffic incident involving a pedestrian occurred approximately 150 feet southwest of the major intersection of South Sheridan Boulevard and West Alameda Avenue in the Westwood neighborhood of Denver. The incident, which happened under dark but lighted conditions, saw a pedestrian crossing outside of a crosswalk struck by a northbound passenger car traveling straight. Fortunately, there were no serious injuries or fatalities reported. This is one of 318 traffic incidents recorded in the Westwood area over the past year.
