DENVER, CO 5/14/2025. On May 14, 2025, at 2:08 PM, a traffic incident was reported on I-25 northbound near North Speer Boulevard in Denver, approximately 0.5 miles west of the major intersection. The incident, which did not result in serious injuries or fatalities, involved two passenger vehicles. The first vehicle, reportedly driving recklessly and weaving, collided with a concrete highway barrier and then made contact with the second vehicle traveling in a straight line. The light conditions were recorded as dark but lighted at the time of the incident. Authorities are investigating whether driving under the influence was a contributing factor. This adds to the 228 reported traffic incidents in the Jefferson Park neighborhood over the past year.
