Possible DUI Causes Two-Vehicle Collision at Busy Denver Intersection

DENVER, CO 10/3/2025. On October 3, 2025, at 3:50 PM, a traffic incident involving a potential case of Driving under the Influence was reported at the intersection of South Colorado Boulevard and East Evans Avenue in Denver’s University Park neighborhood. Approximately 0.3 miles north of this busy cross street, an SUV traveling west attempted a left turn and collided front-to-front with a passenger car heading east. The collision, which involved front-to-side and additional front-to-front impacts, occurred under dark but well-lit conditions. Despite the severity of the crash dynamics, no serious injuries or fatalities were reported. This marks the 108th reported incident in the University Park area since October 21, 2024.
