Possible DUI Collision Reported on N Kalamath Street in Denver’s Baker Neighborhood

On October 3, 2024, at 4:48 PM, a traffic incident was reported on the 500 block of N Kalamath Street in Denver’s Baker neighborhood. The crash, which occurred less than a quarter-mile south of the major intersection of 6th Avenue and Santa Fe Drive, involved two passenger vehicles. One of the vehicles was moving southbound while the other was parked. The incident sequence suggests a front-to-rear collision. Although the area was dark but well-lit, no serious injuries or fatalities resulted from the accident. Authorities noted a possibility that the incident may involve Driving under the Influence, but this remains under investigation. This event adds to the 632 reported incidents in Baker since late last year.
